By air

By bus
Tauranga's main bus terminal is conveniently located outside the i-SITE Visitor Centre and Tauranga City Council headquarters at Willow Street. Intercity, Naked Bus and Mana Bus buses stop here.

Baybus services depart and arrive here as well and service Tauranga and the wider Bay of Plenty. There are 12 bus routes which cover the Tauranga urban area - from Papamoa in the east to Bethlehem in the west and south to The Lakes. By car
Tauranga is easily accessible via SH2 from the north and east, SH29, SH36 and SH33 from the south.

Parking in the CBD

There is plenty of parking available in Tauranga’s city centre on-street, off-street and in the two parking buildings. Parking is free after 3pm on weekdays and Saturdays, and there is no charge for parking buildings and off-street car parks on Saturdays. All parking is free on Sundays and public holidays.
